After unzipping BARCODES.ZIP you should have the following files:

DEMOVBX.EXE     Demo file for the VBX Bar Code Control.
DEMOTBAR.EXE    Demo file for the Bar Code generator, also demos the Visual Basic functions.
TRUEBAR.HLP     An abbreviated help file for VBX features.
THUNDER.HLP     An abbreviated help file for Bar Code Generator & VB source code.
TRUEBAR.VBX     The VBX control.

AVAILABILITY:   The VBX, Generator and VB source code are available NOW.  However details regarding the commercial package(s) contents may have changed from the time of this writing.  Also we are continually upgrading features and documentation, please contact us for the latest information.

OTHER FILES:    In order to keep the zip file as small as possible we have not included the PKZIP utilities, fancy install software or the VBRUN300.DLL file.  Obviously if you are reading this you were able to unzip BARCODES.ZIP.  VBRUN300.DLL (Visual Basic runtime) is required by DEMOTBAR.EXE and DEMOVBX.EXE.  Chances are you already have the DLL installed in your \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory... if not, it is available on ours and many other BBS's.

OPERATION:      DEMOTBAR - Stand alone executable and help file.
		DEMOVBX - Stand alone executable and help file.
ALL files can be run directly or accessed from, any drive\directory.

LIMITATIONS:    DEMOTBAR - Will only encode "demo data".  Commercial package includes the ability to encode ALL data that is valid for the particular bar code type...  Also includes 100% of the Visual Basic source code for the demo and other applications.
		DEMOVBX - No real limitations, however not all of the bar code features are demonstrated.
		TRUEBAR.VBX - No limitations.  However you will not be able to load the control in a development environment without the license file which is included in the commercial package.  Note.. the VBX can be used in development environments that support the level one VBX format such as VB, Microsoft & Borland C++.  (Delphi, Gupta SQL, dBase/WIN, Clarion, PowerBuilder, CA-Visual Objects and Phase 3 are reported to be compatible as well).  Refer to the appropriate documentation for VBX compatibility and usage.
